Rotational molding is a manufacturing technique used for hollow articles like dolls and play balls, with no welding and seams involved. Unlike most other plastic transformation processes, rotational molding is not carried out under pressure. |

The advantages of rotationally molding with PVC-plastisols are ease of handling and the ability to easily meter plastisol in small quantities; flexibility in end product designs; excellent mold detail and finish replication; good color stability; a wide range of hardnesses (Shore A40 – D65), excellent chemical resistance and outdoor properties. Recommended resins including excellent air-release properties are Geon 121AR or Geon 121A+Geon 217. |
