Tarpaulins:

Tarpaulins Tarpaulins have multiple uses both commercially and domestically, such as truck covers, bill-boards and for Protecting for instance boats and garden furniture.
Tarpaulins are made from plasticized PVC which offers excellent protection against atmospheric pollution and stains and is able to withstand adverse weather conditions.
Tarpaulins consist of a base coat and a top coat. A top lacquer consisting of an acrylic polymer in solvents is often post-coated in a separate lacquering machine.

The base coat is applied by floating knife or rotational screen. Recommended resins when layers are applied wet-on-wet are Geon 124A, Geon 136 and Geon 138.
Geon 137 can be used as base-coat for nylon fabrics. If the base-coat is fused before the top-coat is applied, Geon 121A can be used.

The top coat is applies by Knife over-roll, reverse-roll coater or rotational screen. Recommended resins for thin coats are Geon 173 and Geon 179. For thicker coats Geon 120x400 and Geon 121A can be used.
