APPLICATIONS for P-PVC
DIP-COATED PRODUCTS:
Tool handles
![]() |
Dip coating of for instance tool handles is done by heating the tool, immersing it into a tank containing PVC-plastisol, removing the product from the tank and allowing it to drain. The coated part can then be fully gelled by post-heating. |
|
The thickness of the coating is adjusted by the thickness of the goods being coated, the pre-heating temperature of the goods and the dipping time. Recommended resins are Geon 173 for thin Coatings, high gloss and clarity. Geon 124A is recommended for thicker Coatings. Geon 3400FG will give a reduced gloss and a better grip. |
