Coating of steel and aluminum is done to protect the metal from corrosion as well as for decorative purposes. The metal sheet is uncoiled, cleaned to assure good adhesion of the paint, primed, coated (top or finish coat), embossed and coiled before fabricated into finished article. |

Vinyl Coatings have a long proven history in this segment due to their relatively low raw material cost, excellent flexibility, high chemical resistance and high impact resistance at a broad temperature range. Low water absorption, heat and UV stability and weather ability are important parameters for resins used in coil-coating. Users of coated metal sheets are construction, building accessories, interior applications, transport industry and miscellaneous products such as casing for household or electrical products. Recommended resins are Geon 173 and 179 due high water resistance and good outdoor weathering. Geon 121A and Geon 120x400 can also be used, alone or together with Geon 217. |
